Dear friend,
Please consider leaving a legacy to Soteria Trust. Our work is growing rapidly. We have more opportunities to proclaim the Good News and make disciples than ever before. Particularly, there is the opportunity to maintain and expand our work overseas. Soteria is helping some of the poorest children and young adults in the world through Prospect School and the Soteria Business School (SBS) in Nigeria.
This mission school is making disciples and providing education and raising excellent leaders. Young people are finding jobs and starting businesses having been to the Soteria School.
We are under orders because Jesus promises, whoever believes will have eternal life and shall not perish.
Your legacy today will make all the difference towards: the Gospel work, educational projects and Soteria School and renewing the Church.

Why Leave a Legacy?
Legacy income is important for a small charity like Soteria Trust.
It ensures that Soteria can continue in its work in the future: both the preaching of the Good News and the helping of the poor in Africa. It enables the Trust to develop its services as it keeps apace with changing needs in the UK and abroad.
Many people fail to make a Will at all. Currently only one in seven Wills contain a charitable declaration.
Having provided for your family and friends you can support the work of Soteria into future generations.
No matter how small the donation it will help the work of evangelism, discipleship and assisting the poor that Soteria pursues vigorously. If you would like to include Soteria Trust in your Will, please read on.
If you already have a Will we suggest that your solicitor (or Will-write) adds the clause:
“I would like to leave £ ................... as a legacy to Soteria Trust. Their address is 39 North Street, Emsworth, Hampshire. PO10 7DA. UK. Soteria Trust is a registered charity, number 1040766. This is a gift to be used by Soteria Trust for general charitable purposes (or please state if the gift is for a specific purpose).”
Or
“I would like to leave .................% of my estate as a legacy to Soteria Trust. Their address is 39 North Street, Emsworth, Hampshire. PO10 7DA. UK. Soteria Trust is a registered charity, number 1040766.”
If you do not have a Will and would like to leave a legacy to Soteria Trust, you should seek professional advice by employing the services of a qualified Will-write or solicitor. One of the above clauses can be incorporated into the Will
Why should you make a Will?
- It is the only way to make certain that your money and belongings go to the people you care about.
- If you die without making a Will your estate may not be distributed the way you intend.
- It is easy to make changes or add a codicil (legal appendix) to a Will.
- Bear in mind that your beneficiaries may have to pay inheritance tax if your assets exceed the current tax threshold (£325,000). A legacy to a charity can be an effective way to reduce inheritance tax.
- It does not have to be expensive to make a Will. Many solicitors will do it for about £200. It is worth it.
When should you make a Will?
You should make it now.
- It is best not to leave your loved ones with the problem of having to sort everything out.
- Without a Will there are usually delays before your beneficiaries receive their share of your estate.
- Your partner should also make a Will.

- Train and mentor evangelists and Church leaders.

- Maintain and develop the vocational Soteria Business School in Nigeria.
